Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the common queries we receive. Please contact us if you still have other queries after reading this section or would like further information.
Q: How do I find out more
A: You can get more information about our services by either using the contact us link on this website and filling out the information request page or by contactingus using one of our other methods highlighted on that same page.

Q: What is your pricing structure?
A: All clinets are assessed as individuals and prices given based on the level of need, any specialist interventions required and whether or not a nurse is needed to oversee your case. The starting hourly rate is £14.50 per member of staff required. So if you need 2 members of staff for an hour the price will be £29. There is a minimum 30 minute per visit fee which will be half of the agreed hourly rate.

A: If after speaking with a memebr of the management team you are interesting in our domiciliary care services, you will be offered an assessment visit. This will give us the oportunity to meet you and perform an initial basic assessment to identify whether we can provide care for you. This also gives you the opportunity to meet a member of the team in person. Should you wish to go ahead and have a full assessment based on a quoted price this will normally be arranged for another day so that you have the chance to think about your options. A full assessment can be completed on the same day as the initial assessment though a service agreement must be signed.

Q: How do I check that you are CSCI registered?
A: Our CQCregistration numbers are as follows:
Domiciliary Care Agency provider number - 72773
Nursing Agency provider number - 73084
You can confirm these details by contacting CQCdirectly on 0300 061 6161. This is the regional office for CQCregistrations and they will be able to give further registration details of the company as required and confirm that we are regsitered providers.

Q: What are the costs of care services?
A: Domiciliary Care services are charged at £15.80 per hour, per member of staff required. There is a minimum visit time of 30 minutes which would cost 50% of the hourly rate. For individuals whose care needs to be managed by a registered nurse the hourly rate will start at the same as for domiciliary services though will vary depending on the level of need and range of interventions required by the individual. This will be discussed as part of the service users initial assessment. For individuals who do not require the management of a registered nurse but would like us to provide nursing services such as wound care, should make an individual enquiry as these prices may vary.

Q: I would like to give a gift to my carers, what should I do?
A: It is important that we provide the maximum protection for all service users at all times. While we understand that at times you might wish to show your gratitude, a simple thank you is more than enough! Any offers of gifts will be politely declined by staff members and they will inform the duty manager of your gratitude.
